Murray graduated with a B.S. in accounting from California State University Long Beach in 1990. He has been employed at L.G. Smith Accountancy Corporation since 1986, and has been the principal owner of the firm since 1994. His primary duties include firm management, tax preparation, accounting and consulting for businesses, real estate management and sales, insurance, and trust administration. He has been a managing partner of L.G. Smith Financial and Insurance Services since its inception in 1999. Murray is also an insurance agent, licensed in life, health, disability, property, and casualty insurance. Additionally, he is a licensed real estate agent. Murray served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peru from 1982 through 1984 and speaks fluent Spanish.

Murray and his wife Wendy have 4 children (plus 2 sons-in-law) and 2 grandchildren. When he’s out of the office, he loves to travel, spend time with his family, fish, hunt, and is a major sports enthusiast, especially when it comes to his BYU cougars.

John is an IRS-Enrolled Agent and a registered investment advisor. He graduated in 1983 with a B.A. in political science from Brigham Young University. He also received a degree in financial planning from the College for Financial Planning in 1998. He has been employed at L.G. Smith Accountancy Corporation since 1990 and has been an owner since 1994. His principal duties are tax preparation, financial planning, business consulting, insurance and trust administration. He has also been a managing partner of L.G. Smith Financial and Insurance Services since its inception in 1999 and he holds a Series 65 securities license. John is additionally an insurance agent, licensed in life, health, disability, property, and casualty insurance. John served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile from 1978 through 1980 and speaks fluent Spanish.

John’s family has expanded quite quickly over the years; not only does he have 6 children (plus 2 spouses), but he now has 7 grandchildren! John and Kari love being able to spend time with their family. His interests and hobbies include flying, tennis, watching sports and church service.

Kristi has worked for L.G. Smith Accountancy Corporation since 2012. She works with many of our business clients, doing business accounting, preparing company payroll checks, managing property, and handling insurance. She is also an insurance agent, licensed in life, health, disability, property, and casualty insurance. Kristi can help you with all of your insurance needs.

Kristi and her husband Dave have three beautiful daughters (many of you don’t know that her oldest daughter is actually married to John’s oldest son!) and two grandchildren. In her free time, Kristi loves going to Disneyland and doing fun things with her family and friends
